Britannia Trophy

November 2025

An original project designing a prospective tournament spanning football clubs from all parts of the United Kingdom. Drawing inspiration from the bold designs of the London 2012 Olympics and Italia 90', it pairs retro iconography with the modern day.

Taking a step away from the traditional red, white and blue, the colour palette is designed to unify the nations non-politically in the polarising modern day, instead focusing on what matters - the football. Unapologetically bold in design and a call back to one of the greatest moments in football history, the Britannia Trophy celebrates each corner of our island.

Highly customisable yet still distinctive, the tiles are an extension of the logo and a repeatable pattern to create a strong brand identity. You see those squares? You know what's happening. Doesn't matter if they're tinted to a team's colours, they remain a strong and iconic silhouette.

A bold contrast against the backdrop of the often criticised clean and sanitary image of top flight football. Bringing every team and fan together under a banner for the people of the beautiful game and back to its quintessential grassroots connections.
